Buildings / Security

Curtin Business School has three distinct buildings on the Bentley campus. Each of the six teaching schools are located in these buildings. The Graduate School of Business is situated in the Perth city centre. Curtin campus is protected by security staff and security procedures. It is important to familiarise yourself with what is in each building and security processes.

Buildings

Building 408

Houses the office of the Pro Vice Chancellor, Abacus labs, CBS International, School of Marketing and the School of Information Systems.

Building 407

Houses CBS Student Services, cbsplus, the Communication Skills Centre, Study Abroad program, School of Business Law and Taxation and the School of Accounting.

Building 402

Houses computer labs, the Student IT support counter, the School of Economics and Finance, the School of Management. Access to the computer labs via a Student ID Card is only available to CBS students (ie those students studying at least one CBS unit).

Graduate School of Business

The Graduate School of Business which offers business programs such as the Master of Business Administration (MBA) is situated in the heart of the commercial district in Perth city centre at 78 Murray Street (corner of Murray & Pier streets), Perth.

Security patrols

The patrols provide a security service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year. They assist students, staff and visitors who need help or advice concerning security matters on campus.

Curtin security personnel always carry a Curtin identity card.

Courtesy Bus

The campus courtesy bus provides a shuttle service for students and staff in the day time and the evenings until late. The main service operates during the semester only. View timetable and bus stops

Security escort service

Staff and students on the Bentley campus can be escorted to their car or to other parts of the campus by a Security Officer after the courtesy bus service finishes at 2:00am Monday to Thursday and 11:45pm on Fridays during semester.

In non-semester times security will escort staff and students from computer labs and buildings back to Curtin student housing and car parks. There may be a delay of 10-15 minutes before a Security Officer is available so please plan ahead.

Incident reporting

All criminal offences on campus should be reported to Curtin Security and to WA Police Service. If you notice suspicious activity or you have felt or feel unsafe, report to security.
