Further study
Further study can either lead to further specialisation in your area of study or broaden your knowledge in a new direction.
Honours degrees
An Honours award can be earned through an additional year of study after completing a bachelor degree. An Honours degree gives greater depth of specialisation and develops your research skills. Honours can also be a pathway into postgraduate research degrees (see below).
Contact your teaching area to find out more about Honours programs, or see the following school web pages:

Postgraduate courses
CBS has a range of specialised postgraduate qualifications by coursework leading to Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters qualifications. Entrance requirements vary for each course.
Higher degree by research
A higher degree by research is a program at Master's or Doctoral level in which at least two-thirds of the study program involves research. Although some coursework may be required, the main part of the work will be in the form of a thesis written under the guidance of a supervisor.
