Blackboard access
Blackboard runs:

If you have a Blackboard unit, access to Blackboard is available at least six days before the start of a study period and disabled approximately two weeks after the end of the examination period (and before supplementary/deferred exams).
For Blackboard student support and technical assistance:
Online
Fill in the online Blackboard Student Help Form. The hours of response are Mon-Fri 8:15am-5:15pm (AWST)
Note: for queries about academic content please contact your unit controller or lecturer.
In person
Come to the CBS Student IT Support counter (see IT Services for hours of operation and location).
For enrolment assistance
- Contact CBS Student Services for enrolment procedures and assistance.
- If you are enrolled in an offshore program, see Offshore students.
Withdrawn units
Your Blackboard page may show units from which you have withdrawn. Fees are incurred according to your current enrolment advice and not on what is in Blackboard.
Email in Blackboard
All enrolled students are automatically allocated a Curtin student email address (see Oasis for more information). All emails sent to you from Blackboard go to your Oasis account. It is your responsibility to check your emails regularly (your lecturer may have sent you an important message about your unit).
Note: The email facility in Blackboard allows you to send emails to other students in your Blackboard unit. The emails will be sent to their Oasis email address (you cannot receive email inside Blackboard). The Oasis email facility allows you to send as well as receive emails.
WebCT
For online units offered by other schools within Curtin using WebCT, go to http://webct.curtin.edu.au/. Please direct enquiries for units in WebCT to the appropriate school or lecturer.
