Accreditation and rankings

The GSB has been at the national forefront of management education since 1993 and is a dominant Australian player in the international MBA marketplace having achieved the following accolades:

The Graduate School of  Business Master of Business Administration (MBA) program has been accredited by the international Association of MBAs. The association assesses the characteristics of a business school and its MBA program against a set of criteria established by an International Accreditation Advisory Board.

Rankings

 

  • In late September 2008,  the Economist’s Intelligence Unit (EIU), the publishers of the The Economist Magazine ranked the Curtin MBA 94th in the world, and ranked number 2  worldwide for personal development and educational experience. Only four Australian MBA programs were listed in the top 100 EIU rankings.  

  • In 2008, the Economist’s Intelligence Unit (EIU), the publishers of the The Economist Magazine, rated our online Master of Business Administration (MBA) the best in Australia and ranked fourth in the world. No other Australian University was ranked in the top ten.

  • The Australian Financial Review’s BOSS magazine ranked the GSB's MBA first in Western Australia and fifth in Australia in their 2007 survey.

  • Listed in the Global 100 by the Beyond Grey Pinstripes research survey. This alternative ranking of business schools by the US-based Aspen Institute Centre for Business Education highlights innovative MBA programs which integrate social and environmental stewardship into the curriculum.

  • In 2007, the Economist’s Intelligence Unit (EIU), the publishers of the The Economist Magazine ranked the Curtin MBA 80th in the world. Only three Australian MBA programs were listed in the top 100 EIU rankings.

  • The Graduate School of Business is the only Western Australian school to be rated in the five-star bracket in an index of Australian MBA courses, compiled by the Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA). 

  •  Australia's leading financial daily newspaper, The Australian Financial Review, ranked Curtin's MBA within the top 12 business schools in the country in its inaugural BOSS magazine survey.

  • The Graduate School of Business won the education category of the Asia Pacific (Western Australian) Yellow Pages Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) 2001 Award, for our ground-breaking e-learning delivery program.
