Facilities at the GSB

The Graduate School of Business (GSB) is located in the Perth Central Business District and housed in the elegant former Government Printing Office, a National Trust of Australia-listed building originally built in 1892.  The School took residence of the building in 2002 after an extensive re-fit which saw the creation of a state-of-the-art teaching and learning facility for its students and staff. 

In addition to the facilities on offer, rooms and equipment are also able for hire at the GSB.

IT Services

Several PCs are provided by the GSB and are located in a student computer lab at the Murray Street Campus.

Wireless Internet access
The GSB has wireless base stations for easy access to the Curtin network and the internet. Wireless  access on  is available on Level 2 (student common room, classrooms and syndicate rooms), and also in the library on level 4. The network provides staff and students with enhanced teaching and learning opportunities through more flexible access to online materials.

Student Common Room

The Student Common Room is available for general student use. It contains facilities such as vending machines and a microwave oven. There are also copies of university publications and notice boards where information such as positions and vacancies are displayed, along with other relevant academic and social student information.

Library and Information Service (LIS)
The University's Library and Information Service provides facilities and services at the Graduate School of Business, Murray Street Library (MSL). 

The Library provides a wide range of electronic resources, many accessible remotely, supported by a core collection of books, journals, videos and newspapers related to units taught at the GSB. Most titles held in the MSL are also available at the main Bentley campus in the TL Robertson Library or at other Curtin libraries.

GSB clients may request the loan of these and other items to be collected from the MSL.

Communications Skills Centre

The Curtin Business School Communication Skills Centre (CSC), located at the Bentley Campus, assists undergraduate, postgraduate, international and local student develop valuable academic, study and communication skills.

The Centre's services are free and available to all students studying at Curtin Business School.
