Facility and room hire

In addition to housing a world-class teaching facility, the Graduate School of Business also boasts a unique suite of rooms available for hire for business meetings, forums and small conferences.  With its central location and proximity to transport and facilities, the GSB is an ideal choice for your next event.  Choose from our Function Room, Executive Boardroom, theatre-style case study rooms, intimate meeting rooms and syndicate rooms. 

Also available for hire is the Strategic Decision Support Facility (SDSF).  The Stratcom facility is a networked facility with eleven notebook computers linked to a server. The facility is specially designed to enhance group performance with an overhead video that allows ‘conversations’ to be privately input yet publicly displayed.
Data projectors, electronic whiteboards, DVD/VCR and TV monitors with onsite technical support are also available for your use.

Room Types

Case Study Rooms An excellent venue for holding seminars, large meetings and computer demonstrations, capable of seating 56 people tiered in theatre style. Case Study rooms include data projection facilities.	Executive Board Room This room seats 12 people comfortably around a large boardroom table and is perfect for your next business meeting or workshop.
Function Room/Foyer Our function room/foyer is available to complement your Business Meeting or Seminar.	Teaching Rooms Many of the rooms style seating plan, and will seat up to 36 people. Teaching rooms include data projection facilities.
Syndicate Rooms Our syndicate rooms are ideal for small meetings and comfortably seat from 6 to 12 people.

Strategic Decision Support Facility (SDSF) - Stratcom Lab

This facility is designed as a boardroom/ meeting room with the added benefit of unobtrusive technology.

SDSF provides a banner for research, teaching, and consulting. The focus is on the application of information technology to business processes involving groups of people.

Catering

The Graduate School of Business has an onsite catering kitchen for use by your preferred caterer.  If you would like us to arrange the catering for you, we can direct you to our preferred caterer.
