Student achievements
A very enthusiastic team of Curtin Business School students put their skills to the test and took out top honours in the Ernst & Young Ethical Hacking University Challenge.
Competing against teams from the University of WA , Murdoch and ECU, the students put their excellent computer network security skills into practice using the Ernst & Young methodology for testing network security.
The Curtin team comprised a total of 15 students from Curtin Business School and the Division of Engineering and Science with students Michael Cheong and Antonio Sagbini leading the team.
Dr Helen Armstrong from the School of Information Systems said, "Although the competition was close, the Curtin team's skills, organisation and strategy gave them the leading edge. We congratulate the entire team on their dedication and success."
The event was hosted at the Perth office of Ernst & Young.
