Welcome from the Head

"Graduates pursue outstanding careers in diverse industries and pioneer small businesses."

Travaglione

Welcome to the School of Management at Curtin University. A fundamental objective of the Curtin School of Management is to provide our graduates with an appropriate management education to equip them for the contemporary workplace.

If you choose an undergraduate or postgraduate program offered by our School, you will gain a thorough university-level education as well as training in professional skills required for a management career in international business, general management, tourism, entrepreneurship, small business or human resources.

Many programs offered by the Curtin School of Management are recognised by professional bodies such as the Australian Institute of Management; Australian Human Resource Institute; Institute of Corporate Managers, Secretaries and Administrators; Australian Institute of Training and Development and the Industrial Relations Society of Western Australia.

Our graduates are sought after by employers. Many are currently pursuing outstanding careers in diverse industries such as international trading, banking, finance, hospitality, public health, tourism, mining, farming and government. Graduates are also managing and pioneering small and medium size businesses.

Curtin School of Management academic faculty are highly qualified and have extensive industry experience.  As well as offering coursework teaching programs that fit the needs of modern managers, many staff are engaged in applied research and publish their work in academic and practitioner journals. Our PhD and Masters students are exposed to rigorous research methodologies which make them sought after by private and public organisations as well as academic institutions.

And finally, the School is actively involved in consulting to external organisations. This practical participation greatly enhances the capacity of academic faculty to provide highly relevant lectures and seminars for our students.

Please browse through our website and if there is any way we can be of assistance, please feel free to contact me or my colleagues in the School of Management.
